After reliving the nightmare of the Steelers stealing the Superbowl; let sanity prevail: Hytclan BROWNS-- destiny in the making... featuring the anihilation of the Pittsburgh Steelers at any cost.

Just as Paul Brown spawned modernity in football, and Benny Friedman from Cleveland inventing the forward pass, the future will be writ Brown.

Next season we are going to knock the Steelers as lopsided as their helmet decals.

A great pall of ignorance and infamy befell our nation that dark day of 2 SuperBowls ago. The abberation of this Steeler relapse will be expunged, just as that Roethlesburger sneak should have been when he fooled the referees into calling that touchdown when he was clearly down.

Get ready for a Turkey Jones style whompdown, game One next season in Cleveland.

Keep on babbling. Us Steeler fans have never paid much attention to the ravings of Brown lunatics. I have no idea how well we'll do this year with a new coach but I'm not overly concerned. We have some great players so it'll be a good season to watch.

My one question is why you're getting yourself so wound up now? Football season is a long long way away. Why not obsess on hockey or baseball? Does Cleveland even have teams for those sports? I have no idea.

As a Browns fan, one must relish the time of year when there are as yet no game records. Cleveland has the Barons in hockey (actually they became the Lumberjacks, and then they left town) and of course the Cleveland Indians who i just saw yesterday. ( The Indians opener was called one pitch from being an official game when former Indian M Hargrove managing the Mariners, down 4-0 came out and finally got the game called for snow--they called him the human rain delay in his playing days-- and although Indians pitcher Paul Byrd had a no-hitter to that point, it was nixed. They lost yesterday too, but its a long season.)

So what's my onion in the ointment about the Browns? Why do I lapse into lunacy and rant thusly? The Browns are a team that transcends their game, and they exemplify Cleveland. We all live and die by the Browns here. They have been out of contention since they returned after being ripped from the city by ownership and transplanted to Baltimore. But wounds are deeper; the Bengals were formed when Paul Brown was fired (by the same owner that moved the team later) and started the competing Cincinatti Bengals. The Bengals use similar colors and have always tried to subplant the Browns.

The Steelers rivalry with the Browns is a war over the spirit and identity of neighboring people. The Steelers would have a monopoly over the Old Skool football moniker, but this is what grew here and should be represented here again. Its almost like cancer on Cleveland the way the Browns have been denied from winning ways. The immense scale of the tragedy of compounded losing campaigns is profuse and has filled many long time Browns fans with disgust.

The beginning of the reversal of fortune mandated by destiny is to beat the Steelers. The attitude of Pitsburgh fans is one of dismissal, that the Browns are not worthy of the storied rivalry which exists. But we are not a nonentity. The disadvantages of the Browns since their return to the league and the schisms on the team have been healed. The Browns have had to endure these last few more seasons of being overmatched on the field but it will be a surprise what has been built here when the Steelers come to town at the start of next year.

From out of No Where...Pride of Cleveland

First this little planet and all its winds and ways, and

Then the planets about him, and, at last, out across

all the deep space, and all the myswries of time, still he
